intakkt Psychological Solutions was founded in December 2003 from the Psychologist Stefanie Schramm. Since January 2005 intakkt is based in premises in the Schneiderstraße 50, Krefeld.

Since early 2009 intakkt is organized in accordance with its main activities into three divisions; the Psychology training institute and Milton Erickson Gesellschaft (M.E.G.)-regional office, consulting and services as well as the psychological practice Stefanie Schramm (Dipl.-Psych.).

In addition to training courses in the areas of crisis intervention and emergency prophylaxis, intakkt developed into a partner for a range of numerous enterprises for in-house training courses in the areas of communication and personnel management, to just name two. In the area of health prevention intakkt offers courses in smoking cessation as well as stress management for different companies and organisations. Besides that, the area of further training courses was extended and intakkt became a regional office for the Milton Erickson Gesellschaft (M.E.G.). With this, our institute became an official instructor for clinical hypnosis, hypno-systemic concepts for the work with children and teenager and hypno-systemic communication based on Milton H.Erickson.

The following further training courses were added: the curriculum “Special Psychotrauma Therapy” (in accordance with the guidelines of the Deutschsprachige Gesellschaft für Psychotraumatologie/DeGPT) and “Bright Start” - a curriculum leading to the development of learning abilities in Kindergarten and Pre-school children with Rolf Nyfeler (Switzerland).

Parallel to this, the therapy and counseling services for individuals seeking advice and help has been extended. In recent years, a team of experienced therapists who are trained in various psychological methods has come together. One focus of our approach lies in the systemic therapy, solution-oriented Erickson's approach. Additionally, individual and group activities for special topics such as Smoking cessation classes or relaxation classes for kids have been developed.
